Hadith 28163
٢٨١٦٣ - حدثنا عبدة عن يحيى بن سعيد عن سعيد بن المسيب قال: كان إبراهيم أول الناس أضاف الضيف، وأول الناس قص شاربه وقلم أظافره واستحد، وأول الناس اختتن، وأول الناس رأى الشيب فقال: يا رب ما هذا؟ قال: الوقار، قال: رب زدني وقارًا (١).
Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib narrates that Ibrahim was the first person who hosted a guest, and the first person who trimmed the moustache, and cut his nails, and cleaned the hair of the private parts, and the first person who performed circumcision, and the first person who saw white hair. So he said: O my Lord! What is this thing? Allah, the Lord of Honor, said: This is dignity and respect. He said: O Lord! Increase my dignity.
