Hadith 28009
٢٨٠٠٩ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: أخبرنا (١) الدستوائي عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن أبي سلام عن عبد اللَّه بن الأزرق عن عقبة بن عامر الجهني عن النبي ﷺ قال: "إن اللَّه ليدخل بالسهم الواحد الثلاثة الجنة: صانعه يحتسب في صنعته الخير، والرامي به، والممد به"، (وقال) (٢): "ارموا واركبوا، وإن ترموا أحبُّ إليّ من أن تركبوا، وكل ما يلهو به المرء المسلم باطل إلا رميه بقوسه، وتأديبه فرسه، وملاعبته أهله، فإنهن من الحق" (٣).
Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir Juhani narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Surely, Allah will admit three people into Paradise because of a single arrow: the one who made it, seeking reward, the one who shot it, and the one who handed it over. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Practice archery and riding. And your practicing archery is more beloved to me than your riding. And all games that a Muslim servant plays are false, except for his practicing archery with his bow, training his horse, or entertaining himself with his wife. Indeed, all these things are among the truth.
