Hadith 28007
٢٨٠٠٧ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن (عبد اللَّه) (١) بن سعيد عن أبيه عن (ابن) (٢) أبي حدرد الأسلمي قال: مر رسول اللَّه ﷺ بناس من أسلم وهم يتناضلون، فقال: "ارموا يا بني اسماعيل، فإن أباكم كان راميًا، ارموا وأنا مع ابن ⦗٤٢٢⦘ الأدرع"، فأمسك القوم بأيديهم فقال: "ما لكم لا ترمون؟ " قالوا: يا رسول اللَّه أنرمي وقد قلت أنا مع ابن الأدرع وقد علمنا أن حزبك لا يغلب؟ قال: "ارموا وأنا معكم كلكم" (٣).
Hazrat Ibn Abu Hadra Salmi narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, passed by some people of the tribe of Aslam while they were competing with each other in archery. Upon this, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: O Banu Ismail! Shoot arrows, indeed your father was also an archer. And you shoot, and I am with Ibn Al-Adra’. So the people stopped their hands. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: What happened to you that you are not shooting? They said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! How can we shoot when you have said that you are with Ibn Al-Adra’, and indeed we know that your side can never be defeated! The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: You shoot, I am with all of you.
