Hadith 27971
٢٧٩٧١ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن برد عن الزهري قيل له أيكتني الرجل قبل أن يولد له؟ قال: كان رجال من أصحاب رسول اللَّه ﷺ (يكتنون) (١) قبل أن يولد لهم (٢).
Hazrat Burd narrates that Hazrat Zuhri was asked: Can a man choose a kunyah before the birth of a child? He replied: Some companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to choose their kunyah even before having children.
