Hadith 27762
٢٧٧٦٢ - حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن داود (أن) (١) سعيد بن المسيب قال: لا تطلع الشمس حتى (يصحبها) (٢) ثلاثمائة ملك وسبعون ملكًا، أما سمعت أمية بن ⦗٣٥٣⦘ أبي الصلت يقول: ليست بطالعة لنا في رسلها … إلا معذبة وإلا تجلد.
Dawood narrates that Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib said: The sun does not rise except that there are three hundred and seventy angels with it. Have you not heard Umayyah bin Abi Salt saying: This sun does not rise upon us of its own will, rather it is punished and it is whipped.
