Hadith 27757
٢٧٧٥٧ - حدثنا وكيع عن مسعر عن قتادة عن ابن عباس قال: ما كنت أدري ما قوله: ﴿رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ﴾ [الأعراف: ٨٩]، حتى سمعت (بنت) (١) ذي يزن (تقول) (٢): (تعال) (٣) أفاتحك (٤).
Hazrat Qatadah narrates that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said: I did not know the meaning of Allah, the Lord of Might’s statement: { رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَیْنَنَا وَبَیْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ }. Until I heard the daughter of Dhi Yazan saying: Come, I will decide between you.
