Hadith 27746
٢٧٧٤٦ - حدثنا يحيى بن آدم عن حماد بن (زيد عن علي) (١) بن زيد عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي بكرة عن الأسود بن سريع قال: قلت يا رسول اللَّه إني مدحت اللَّه مدحة ومدحتك أخرى قال: "هات وابدأ بمدحك اللَّه" (٢).
Hazrat Aswad bin Suraee says that I submitted: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Indeed, I have composed poetry in praise and glorification of Allah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Recite, and begin with what you have said in praise of Allah.
