Hadith 27745
٢٧٧٤٥ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: أخبرنا هشام قال: سأل رجل محمدًا وهو في المسجد والرجل يريد أن يصلي: أيتوضأ من ينشد الشعر؟ (وينشد الشعر) (١) في المسجد؟ قال: (فأنشده) (٢) أبياتًا من شعر حسان ذلك (الرقيق) (٣)، ثم افتتح الصلاة.
Hazrat Hisham narrates that a man who intended to pray asked Muhammad these questions while you were in the mosque: Should a person who recites poetry perform ablution again? And can poetry be recited in the mosque? The narrator says that you recited those eloquent verses of Hazrat Hassan bin Thabit, and then you began the prayer.
