Hadith 27701
٢٧٧٠١ - حدثنا (ابن نمير) (١) عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه أن حسان بن ثابت سأل النبي ﷺ أن يهجو أبا سفيان قال: فكيف بقرابتي؟ قال: (والذي أكرمك لأسلنك منهم سل (الشعرة) (٢) من العجين" (٣).
Hazrat Urwah bin Zubair narrates that Hazrat Hassan bin Thabit asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about satirizing Abu Sufyan: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: How will you do it? He is my close relative. He replied: By Him Who has honored you, I will draw you out (from it) as a hair is drawn out from flour.
