Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Aamir says that among the sinners and disobedient ones of the Quraysh, none except Hazrat Muti’ accepted Islam, and his name was ‘Aasi. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, named him Muti’.
