Hadith 27572
٢٧٥٧٢ - حدثنا (حميد) (١) (بن) (٢) عبد الرحمن عن هشام عن أبيه أن رجلًا كان اسمه الحباب، فسماه رسول اللَّه ﷺ عبد اللَّه، وقال: "الحباب شيطان" (٣).
Hazrat Urwah bin Zubair narrates that there was a man named Hubab, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, changed his name to Abdullah and said: "Hubab is the name of Satan." Hazrat Urwah said: There was a man named Mudtaji‘, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, changed his name to Munba‘ith.
