Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Muhammad bin Souqah says that I went to Hazrat Naeem bin Abi Hind, and he took out a scroll and showed it to me. It was written in it as follows: From Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah and Mu'adh bin Jabal to Hazrat Umar bin Khattab. Peace be upon you. Amma ba'd: After praise and blessings. And then when Hazrat Umar wrote a reply to both of them, it was as follows: From Umar bin Khattab to Hazrat Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah and Hazrat Mu'adh bin Jabal, peace be upon both of you, amma ba'd.
