Hadith 27379
٢٧٣٧٩ - حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة عن غالب قال: قلت للشعبي: إن ابن سيرين كان يكره المصافحة، قال: فقال الشعبي: كان أصحاب رسول اللَّه ﷺ يتصافحون، وإذا قدم أحدهم من سفر عانق صاحبه (١).
Hazrat Ghalib says that I mentioned before Imam Sha’bi that Hazrat Ibn Sirin considered handshaking to be disliked. Upon this, Imam Sha’bi said: The companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to shake hands with each other, and when any of them returned from a journey, he would embrace his companion.
