Hadith 27271
٢٧٢٧١ - حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن ليث عن مجاهد قال: ثلاث من كن فيه فهو منافق وإن صام وصلى، وقال: (إني) (١) مسلم: إذا حدث كذب، وإذا أؤتمن خان، وإذا وعد أخلف.
Hazrat Laith narrates that Hazrat Mujahid said: There are three things, whoever possesses them will be a hypocrite, even if he prays, fasts, and claims, "Indeed, I am a Muslim." They are: when he speaks, he lies; when he is entrusted, he betrays the trust; and when he makes a promise, he breaks it.
