ما قالوا: في البر وصلة الرحمStatements of some regarding goodness and maintaining family ties
Hadith 27028
٢٧٠٢٨ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن (الزهري عن) (١) أبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن أن عبد الرحمن عاد أبا (الرداد) (٢) فقال خيرهم وأوصلهم أبو محمد -يعني ابن عون-: ⦗١٤٦⦘ سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول: "قال اللَّه: أنا اللَّه وأنا الرحمن، وهي الرحم، شققت لها اسمًا من أسمي، فمن وصلها وصلته ومن قطعها بتته" (٣).
Hazrat Abu Salamah bin Abdur Rahman narrates that Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Auf visited Hazrat Abu Raddad when he was ill and said: The best person among people is the one who maintains the most ties of kinship. I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Allah said! I am Allah and I am the Most Merciful (Rahman), and this is the womb (rahm); I have derived its name from My own name. So whoever maintains ties of kinship, I will join with him, and whoever severs them, I will cut him off.
