Hadith 26961
٢٦٩٦١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حفص بن غياث عن (داود) (١) عن مكحول عن أبي ثعلبة الخشني قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "إن أحبكم الي وأقربكم مني يوم القيامة (أحاسنكم) (٢) أخلاقًا، وإن أبعدكم مني وأبغضكم إلي مساوئكم أخلاقًا: الثرثارون (المتشدقون) (٣) المتفيهقون" (٤).
Hazrat Abu Tha’labah al-Khushani narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Indeed, on the Day of Resurrection, the person who will be closest to me and most beloved to me will be the one among you with the best character. And indeed, the one who will be farthest from me and most detested by me will be the one among you with bad character, who is talkative, foul-mouthed, and arrogant.
