Hadith 26945
٢٦٩٤٥ - (حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا) (١) شريك عن المقدام بن شريح عن أبيه قال: سألت عائشة عن البداوة فقالت: كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ يبدو إلى هذه التلاع وأنه أراد البداوة مرة فأرسل إلي ناقة (محرمة) (٢) من إبل الصدقة فقال: لي يا عائشة ارفقي فإن الرفق لم يكن في شيء (قط) (٣) إلا زانه ولا نزع من شيء قط إلا شانه (٤).
Hazrat Shurayh narrates that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about staying in the desert. She replied: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to go towards those mounds, and once when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to go to the desert, he sent a rebellious she-camel from the camels of charity to me and said: O Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her)! Be gentle, for gentleness beautifies whatever it is in, and when gentleness is removed from something, it becomes ugly.
