Hadith 269
٢٦٩ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن (أبي سفيان) (١) عن جابر قال: رأى النبي ﷺ قوما توضؤوا، (لم) (٢) يمس الماء أعقابهم، فقال النبي ﷺ: "ويل للأعقاب من النار" (٣).
Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw some people performing ablution, but water had not reached their heels. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Woe to the dry heels from the Hellfire."
