Hadith 26761
٢٦٧٦١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن نمير (عن عبيد اللَّه) (١) عن نافع عن ابن عمر قال: اتخذ رسول اللَّه ﷺ خاتمًا من ورق فكان في يده، ثم (كان) (٢) في يد أبي ⦗٦٤⦘ بكر من بعده، ثم (كان) (٣) في يد عمر، ثم كان في يد عثمان حتى وقع منه في بئر (أريس) (٤)، وكان نقشه محمد رسول اللَّه (٥) (٦).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). He says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had a ring made of silver. So it remained in the hand of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Then after him, it was in the hand of Hazrat Abu Bakr, then it remained in the hand of Hazrat Umar. Then it remained in the hand of Hazrat Uthman, until it fell from him into the well of Aris. And its inscription was "Muhammad, Messenger of Allah".
