Hadith 26724
٢٦٧٢٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا محمد بن بشر قال: حدثنا مسعر قال: حدثنا عون بن عبد اللَّه قال: لبس رجل ثوبًا جديدًا، فحمد اللَّه فأدخل الجنة أو غفر له قال: فقال رجل: لا أرجع إلى أهلي حتى ألبس ثوبًا جديدًا وأحمد اللَّه عليه.
Hazrat Awn bin Abdullah narrates: He says that a man wore new clothes and praised Allah Almighty, so he was admitted to Paradise… or he said… he was forgiven. The narrator says: Upon this, a man said, "I will not return to my family until I wear new clothes and praise Allah for them."
