Hadith 2645
٢٦٤٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: (نا) (١) أبو الأحوص عن منصور عن زيد بن وهب ⦗٦٣⦘ قال: خرجت مع عبد اللَّه من داره إلى المسجد فلما توسطنا المسجد ركع الإمام، فكبر عبد اللَّه ثم ركع وركعت معه، ثم مشينا راكعين حتى انتهينا إلى الصف حتى رفع القوم رؤوسهم، قال: فلما قضى الإمام الصلاة قمت (٢) وأنا أرى لم أدرك فأخذ بيدي عبد اللَّه فأجلسني وقال: إنك قد أدركت (٣).
Hazrat Zaid bin Wahb narrates that I went with Hazrat Abdullah from his house towards the mosque. When we reached the middle of the mosque, the Imam had gone into ruku. Hazrat Abdullah said the takbeer and went into ruku, and I also went into ruku with him. Then, while we were in the state of ruku, we walked to the row, and by that time the people had already raised their heads from ruku. Then, when the Imam completed the prayer, I stood up thinking that I had missed that rak'ah. But Hazrat Abdullah held my hand and made me sit down, and said that you have attained that rak'ah.
