Hadith 26422
٢٦٤٢٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا محمد بن (بشر) (١) عن محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة عن أبي هريرة قال: مر بأبي هريرة (فتى) (٢) من (قريش) (٣) وهو يجر سبله فقال: (يا) (٤) ابن أخي إني سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول: "من جر ثوبه من الخيلاء لم ينظر اللَّه إليه يوم القيامة" (٥).
Hazrat Abu Salamah narrates about Hazrat Abu Hurairah, saying that a young man from the Quraysh passed by Hazrat Abu Hurairah while he was dragging his hanging garment. Hazrat Abu Hurairah said: "O nephew! I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'Whoever drags his garment out of pride, Allah the Exalted will not even look at him on the Day of Resurrection.'"
