Hadith 26420
٢٦٤٢٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن عطية عن أبي سعيد قال: (قال) (١) رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "من جر إزاره من الخيلاء لم ينظر اللَّه إليه يوم القيامة" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Sa'id that he says: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever drags his lower garment out of arrogance, Allah Almighty will not even look at such a person on the Day of Resurrection." The narrator says: Then I met Hazrat Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, at the place of Balat. He says: I mentioned before him the hadith narrated by Hazrat Abu Sa'id from you. The narrator says: Then he pointed towards his ears (and said): My ears have heard this hadith and my heart has preserved it.
