Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Amr al-Shaibani that he says Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) saw some dirhams with a man, so he asked, "What will you do with these dirhams?" The man said, "O Abu Abdur Rahman! These are thirty dirhams, and my intention is to buy ghee with them for the month of Ramadan." Hazrat Ibn Masood asked, "Will you put this ghee in a small dish and then eat it?" The man said, "Yes." He said, "Go and give these dirhams to your wife and tell her to buy meat with one dirham every day; this is better for you."
