Hadith 25974
٢٥٩٧٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا إسماعيل بن عياش عن برد عن عطاء عن جابر بن عبد اللَّه قال: كنا نغزو مع رسول اللَّه ﷺ أرض المشركين فلا (نمتنع) (١) أن نأكل في آنيتهم، ونشرب في أسقيتهم (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him). He says that we used to perform jihad in the land of the polytheists along with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). And we did not refrain from eating from the food utensils of the polytheists and drinking from their drinking vessels.
