Hadith 25570
٢٥٥٧٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن فضيل عن الأعمش عن يحيى (١) أبي (عمر) (٢) قال: ذكر عند ابن عباس الطلاء، وذكروا طبخه، فقال ابن عباس: إن النار لا تحل شيئا ولا تحرمه؛ لأن أوله كان حلالًا (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Yahya bin Ubaid Abi Umar, he says that the mention of talā’ was made before Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them), and people also mentioned its cooking. So Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said: Indeed, fire neither makes anything lawful nor unlawful, because it was lawful from the very beginning.
