Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Usman bin Qais, he says: On Friday, I went out with Jarir towards his bathhouse at the place of Aqool. Then food was brought to us, which we ate. Then honey and Tila’ were brought to us. Jarir said: You people drink the honey, and he himself drank the Tila’, and said: Drinking this (Tila’) will be considered strange among you, but it will not be considered strange from me. I asked, what kind of Tila’ is this? He replied: I can smell it from such and such a place, and (saying this) he pointed with his hand towards the group of people who were sitting the farthest away.
