Hadith 25222
٢٥٢٢٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن فضيل عن يزيد بن أبي (زياد) (١) عن (٢) مقسم عن ابن عباس أنه كان إذا حم بل ثوبه ثم لبسه ثم قال: إنها من فيح جهنم فأبردوها بالماء (٣).
It is narrated about Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that when he would get a fever, he would wet his clothes and then wear those clothes. Then he would say, "Surely this fever is from the intensity of Hell, so cool it with water."
