Hadith 25220
٢٥٢٢٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن نمير ومحمد بن بشر قال: حدثنا عبيد اللَّه (عن) (١) نافع عن ابن عمر عن النبي ﷺ قال: "إن شدة الحمى من فيح جهنم فأبردوها بالماء" (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, the severity of fever is from the heat of Hell, so cool it with water."
