Hadith 2517
٢٥١٧ - حدثنا هشيم عن أبي بشر عن (عكرمة) (١) قال: رأيت يعلى يصلي عند المقام يكبر في كل وضع ورفع، قال: فأتيت ابن عباس فأخبرته بذلك، فقال (لي) (٢) ابن عباس: (أو ليس) (٣) تلك صلاة رسول اللَّه ﷺ لا أم لعكرمة (٤).
Hazrat Ikrimah says that I saw Hazrat Ya'la (may Allah be pleased with him) performing prayer near Maqam Ibrahim; he used to say Takbeer when rising and bowing. He says that I went to Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) and told him about this. He said, "Was this not the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?"
