Hadith 25126
٢٥١٢٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا الحسن بن موسى قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن فرقد (السبخي) (١) عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس أن امرأة جاءت بابن لها إلى النبي ﷺ فقالت: يا رسول اللَّه، إن ابني هذا به جنون، وإنه يأخذه [عند ⦗١٥٨⦘ عشائنا و (عند) (٢) غدائنا) (٣)، فيخبث (٤)، قال: (فمسح) (٥) رسول اللَّه ﷺ صدره ودعا له فثع (ثعة) (٦) فخرج من جوفه مثل (الجرو) (٧) الأسود (٨).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a woman came to the service of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) with her son and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! My son is affected by jinn, and he has fits morning and evening, and it is a very terrible sight." The narrator says: Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stroked the boy's chest and prayed for him, so the boy vomited once, and something came out of his stomach that was black like a cucumber.
