Hadith 25125
٢٥١٢٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا (زيد) (١) بن حباب عن إبراهيم بن إسماعيل (ابن) (٢) أبي حبيبة قال: حدثني داود بن (الحصين) (٣) عن عكرمة عن ابن عباس قال: كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ يعلمنا من الأوجاع كلها، ومن الحمى هذا الدعاء: "بسم اللَّه الكبير، أعوذ باللَّه العظيم من شر كل عرق (نعار) (٤) ومن شر حر النار" (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to teach us this supplication for all kinds of pains and fever: "In the name of Allah, the Most Great, I seek refuge with Allah, the Most Magnificent, from the evil of every throbbing vein and from the evil of the heat of the fire."
