Hadith 25123
٢٥١٢٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا يعلى عن سفيان عن منصور عن المنهال عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس قال: كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ يعوذ الحسن والحسين يقول: "أعيذكما بكلمات اللَّه التامة من كل (شيطان) (١) وهامة، ومن كل (عين) (٢) لامة"، ويقول: "هكذا كان إبراهيم يعوذ (ابنيه) (٣): إسماعيل وإسحاق" (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) used to give amulets to Hasan and Husain with these words, saying: "I seek refuge for both of you in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and poisonous creature and from every evil eye." And he used to say that Ibrahim (Abraham) also used to give amulets (incantations) to his two sons, Ismail and Ishaq, in the same way.
