Hadith 25114
٢٥١١٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن عاصم بن (عبيد اللَّه) (١) عن زياد بن ثويب عن أبي هريرة قال: دخل علي رسول اللَّه ﷺ وأنا اشتكي، فقال: (ألا) (٢) أرقيك برقية علمنيها جبريل "بسم اللَّه أرقيك، (واللَّه) (٣) يشفيك، من كل (أرب) (٤) يوذيك، ومن شر النفاثاث في العقد، ومن شر حاسد إذا حسد" (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah, he says that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to me while I was suffering from some ailment. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Shall I not perform ruqyah (spiritual healing) on you with the words that Jibreel taught me? In the name of Allah, I perform ruqyah on you, and may Allah grant you healing from every affliction that harms you, and from the evil of those who blow on knots, and from the evil of the envier when he envies."
