Hadith 25036
٢٥٠٣٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن أبي وائل أن رجلا أصابه الصفر (١)، (فنعت) (٢) له السكر، فسأل عبد اللَّه عن ذلك فقال: إن اللَّه لم يجعل شفاءكم فيما حرم عليكم (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Wa'il that a man was afflicted with a stomach illness in which the face turns yellow. Someone praised date wine in his presence. The patient asked Hazrat Abdullah about it, so he replied: Allah Almighty has not placed your cure in that which He has made unlawful for you.
