Hadith 24977
٢٤٩٧٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن زكريا عن الشعبي قال: كان النبي ﷺ (١) يقول: " (خير) (٢) الدواء (اللدود) (٣) (والسعوط) (٤) والمشي والحجامة والعلق" (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Sha'bi. He says that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to say: "The best medicine is that which is used by placing it at the corner of the mouth, and the medicine which is taken through the nose, and purgative medicine, and cupping, and 'alaq — applying leeches."
