Hadith 24967
٢٤٩٦٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حسين بن علي عن (ابن أبجر عن) (١) أياد ابن لقيط عن أبي رمثة قال: انطلقت مع أبي وأنا غلام إلى النبي ﷺ (٢) قال: فقال له (أبي) (٣): إني رجل طبيب، فارني هذه السلعة التي بظهرك، قال: " (و) (٤) ما تصنع بها؟ " قال: أقطعها قال: "لست بطبيب، ولكنك (رفيق) (٥)، طبيبها الذي وضعها" -وقال غيره: "الذي خلقها" (٦).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Ramtha. He says that I was young and accompanied my father to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Abu Ramtha says: My father said to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "I am a physician, so please show me the raised flesh on your back." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "What will you do with it?" My father replied, "I will cut it off." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You are not a physician, rather you are a friend. Its physician is the One who made it." Or he said, "The One who created it."
