Hadith 24964
٢٤٩٦٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن يحيى بن سعيد عن زيد بن أسلم أن رجلًا أصابه جرح، فاحتقن الدم، وأن رسول اللَّه ﷺ دعا له رجلين من بني أنمار فقال: "أيكما (أطب) (١)؟ "، فقال: رجل يا رسول اللَّه أو في الطب خير؟ فقال (٢): "إن الذي أنزل الداء (٣) أنزل الدواء" (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Aslam that a man was wounded and the blood became clotted. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, called two men from Banu Anmar for him and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Who among you is the greater physician?" One man asked, "O Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon you! Is there any good in medicine as well?" The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, replied: "Surely, the One who has sent down the disease has also sent down the cure."
