Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has declared ‘urbān permissible in trade. ‘Urbān is when a person pays half the price of something and says that if the sale is completed, this will be counted as part of the price, otherwise, this amount will be yours and I will not take it back from you.
