Hadith 24394
٢٤٣٩٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا (معتمر) (١) عن (محمد) (٢) بن (فضاء) (٣) (عن) (٤) أبيه (عن علقمة بن عبد اللَّه عن أبيه) (٥) قال: نهى رسول اللَّه ﷺ عن كسر ⦗٤٩١⦘ [(سكة) (٦) المسلمين الجائزة بينهم إلا من بأس (٧).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade corrupting the currency (dirhams) of the Muslims which is in circulation among them, except if there is a need or benefit for the Muslims, then it is another matter.
