Hadith 24372
٢٤٣٧٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حفص عن أشعث، عن الحكم وحماد، عن إبراهيم (و) (١) الشعبي (و) (٢) الحسن (قالوا) (٣): لا تجوز شهادة أهل ملة إلا على أهل ملتها: اليهودي على اليهودي، والنصراني على النصراني.
Ibrahim, Hazrat Sha’bi, and Hasan state that the testimony of a follower of one religion is not accepted against a follower of another religion. The testimony of a Jew is accepted for a Jew, and the testimony of a Christian is accepted for a Christian.
