Hadith 24331
٢٤٣٣١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا إسماعيل بن عياش عن شرحبيل بن مسلم قال: سمعت أبا أمامة (الباهلي) (١) (يقول) (٢): سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ في خطبته (في) (٣) عام حجة الوداع يقول: الدين مقضي والزعيم غارم -يعني الكفيل (٤).
Hazrat Abu Umamah al-Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying during the Farewell Pilgrimage sermon that it is necessary in all circumstances to repay a debt, and the guarantor is responsible (for the repayment of the debt).
