الرجل يقرض (الرجل) الدراهمA Person Lends Dirhams to Another
Hadith 24249
٢٤٢٤٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا رواد بن (جراح) (١) عن الأوزاعي في رجل أقرض رجلًا عشرة دراهم (فأتى) (٢) بعشرة ودانقين، قال: لا تقبل، قلت له: إنه قد طابت نفسه (بها) (٣)، قال: وهل يكون الربا إلا عن طيب نفس.
It is narrated from Hazrat Al-Awza'i that a person lent ten dirhams to another. When the borrower came to repay the loan, he brought ten dirhams and two daniq (one-sixth of a dirham). He (Al-Awza'i) said: Do not accept it. I said: He is giving it willingly. He replied: Was usury not given willingly?!
