الرجل يبيع العبد وعليه دينSelling a Slave Who Is in Debt
Hadith 24019
٢٤٠١٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن إدريس عن الشيباني عن [الشعبي عن عبد اللَّه بن عتبة وشريح في الرجل يبيع العبد وعليه دين قال] (١): دينه على مولاه ولا يجاوز ثمنه، وإذا باعه وله مال فماله للذي ابتاعه -يعني المشتري.
Hazrat Shurayh says regarding a person who sells a slave upon whom there is a debt: He said, his debt is the responsibility of the master. It should not exceed his price, and if such a slave is sold who possesses wealth, then his wealth will belong to the buyer.
