Hadith 2399
٢٣٩٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا وكيع عن سفيان (عن عبد اللَّه) (١) بن محمد ابن عقيل عن ابن الحنفية عن أبيه قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "مِفْتَاحُ الصَّلاةِ الطَّهُورُ، وَتَحِرْيمُهَا التَّكبيرُ، وَتَحْليلُها التَّسْليمُ" (٢).
Hazrat Ibn al-Hanafiyyah narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The key to prayer is ablution, the sanctification of prayer is the opening takbeer, and the conclusion of prayer is the salam."
