Hadith 23988
٢٣٩٨٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا (عبيد اللَّه) (١) (عن) (٢) حنظلة عن طاوس سئل عن رجل اشترى عبدا (وله مال) (٣) وشرط ماله، قال: ماله له، وإن لم يشترط فماله لسيده.
Hazrat Tawus was asked: If a person, at the time of purchasing a slave, also stipulates a condition regarding his property, what is the ruling? He replied: His property will go to him (the buyer), and if the buyer does not stipulate a condition, the property will belong to the master (seller).
