Hadith 23984
٢٣٩٨٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حاتم بن إسماعيل عن جعفر عن أبيه قال: قال علي: من باع عبدا وله مال فالمال للبائع (إلا أن يشترط المبتاع) (١)، ومن باع نخلا قد أبرت -يعني: لقحت- (فثمرته) (٢) للبائع إلا أن يشترط المبتاع، قضى به رسول اللَّه ﷺ (٣).
The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever buys a slave who possesses some wealth, then that wealth will belong to the seller, unless the buyer stipulates with these words that "I buy him and his wealth from you." And whoever buys a tree whose fruits have ripened, then its fruits will belong to the seller, unless the buyer also stipulates for the fruits.
