Hadith 23979
٢٣٩٧٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا (سفيان) (١) بن عيينة عن الزهري عن سالم (عن) (٢) أبيه عن النبي ﵇ (٣) قال: "من باع نخلا (بعد) (٤) أن (تؤبر) (٥) فثمرته (للبائع) (٦) إلا أن يشترطه المبتاع، ومن باع عبدا وله مال، فماله للبائع إلا أن يشترطه المبتاع" (٧).
The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever sells a date-palm tree after it has become sound (after it has borne fruit), then if the buyer does not stipulate a condition, the fruit will belong to the seller. And whoever sells a slave who possesses wealth, then if the buyer does not stipulate a condition, that wealth will belong to the seller.
