Hadith 23744
٢٣٧٤٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو أسامة قال: حدثنا (عبيد اللَّه) (١) بن عمر عن نافع عن ابن عمر قال: نهى رسول اللَّه ﷺ أن (تحتلب) (٢) المواشي إلا بإذن أهلها، (و) (٣) قال: أيحبُّ أحدكم أن تؤتى مشربته التي فيها طعامه فيكسر بابها (فينتثل) (٤) ما فيها؟ (فإن) (٥) ما (في) (٦) (ضروع) (٧) مواشيهم (مثل) (٨) ما في (مشاربكم) (٩) ألا! فلا يحل ما في ضروعها إلا بإذن أهلها (١٠).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade extracting the milk of livestock without permission. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Would any of you like that someone enters his room in which his food is kept, breaks its door, and takes whatever is in it?" Surely, what is in the udders of animals is like your rooms; therefore, it is not permissible to use what is in the udders without permission.
