Hadith 2363
٢٣٦٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا يزيد بن هارون قال: نا شيخ من أهل البصرة قال: نا القاسم بن عوف الشيباني عن زيد بن أرقم قال: قال النبي ﷺ: "بلَال سَيِّدُ المُؤَذِّنِين يَوْمَ الْقياَمَةِ وَلا يَتْبَعُهُ (إِلا) (١) مُؤمِنٌ، وَالمُؤذّنُونَ أطْوَلُ النَّاسِ أعْناقًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Bilal will be the leader of the mu’adhdhins on the Day of Resurrection, and only a believer will be behind him. Those who give the call to prayer will have elevated necks on the Day of Resurrection.
